PERFORMANCE RANKINGS: Eluru Collector earns 2nd place

The State government has given ranks to the District Collectors based on their performance. Eluru District Collector V Prasanna Venkatesh has got the second rank. These ranks were given based on the performance of the Collectors in four aspects in 26 districts of the State.

These ranks have been allotted on the basis of the information collated from June to November in the video conferences organised by the Chief Secretary.

The ranks were allocated on the basis of performance in aspects such as the provision of government services to the people, effective steps taken to resolve grievances received in Spandana, construction of houses under ‘Pedalandriki illu’, and re-survey of Villages. YSR district has got the first rank, Eluru District Collector has got the second rank, and Tirupati District Collector has secured the third rank. On this occasion, the officials of various government departments congratulated Collector Prasanna Venkatesh.
