The TRS said that not inviting the Chief Minister during the Prime Minister’s visit to Telangana is an insult to the people of Telangana and not K. Chandrasekhar Rao alone. Government Whip TRS MLA Balka Suman came down heavily on the BJP over the invite issue. Speaking to the media at Ramagundam he said, “During the last two visits of the PM they didn’t want the Chief Minister or the Chief secretary or ministers to come.

Today only a nominal invite was sent. The CM should have been a ‘Guest of Honour’ but instead of that the Union fertiliser ministry sent a letter to the CM asking him to attend the function. BJP leaders are shamelessly supporting it. It is an insult to the people of Telangana and not just the Chief Minister.” Earlier, during his Bharat Biotech visit, the Prime Minister didn’t want the CM to come as he wanted to take the credit for himself, Suman said.

He said that it is customary for the PMO to invite the Chief Minister, but KCR did not receive any invitation from the PMO. The Prime Minister who is coming to dedicate Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory to the nation is not following protocol and is insulting KCR once again.

He said that twice in the past the Prime Minister had visited the State and the PMO did not sent an invitation to the Chief Minister. He also questioned some facts about restarting the RFCL plant which started production a year ago.

He said that Prime Minister Modi had opposed the formation of Telangana state and that there is a conspiracy to hand over Singareni Collieries to the PM’s businessmen friends.

Suman said the PM’s post is not permanent and that the Centre is insulting KCR. He also said that the Kaleshwaram project should be given national project status and that the PM should sanction 10 medical colleges for the state.

Minister for Animal Husbandry, T Srinivas Yadav to receive Prime Minister, Narendra Modi when he arrives at Begumpet Airport on Saturday. This will be the fourth time this year that Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao will not be receiving the Prime Minister.
