Police officials directed to expedite investigation of cheating cases

Superintendent of police Vakul Jindal directed the police officials to speed up the investigation of cheating cases and take steps to curb road accidents.

The SP reviewed the long pending cases including cheating cases and road accidents in Bapatla and Chirala sub-divisions with the officials on Wednesday. The SP inspected thoroughly the case files pertaining to the cheatings and the way the investigation is going on. He inquired with the officials the reason for delaying in completing the investigation and filing charge sheet in the court in cheating cases. The SP gave some techniques and suggestions for carrying out investigation preciously and expeditiously.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the officials should file the charge sheet as soon as possible by using professionalism and technical knowledge in the long pending cases. He warned that departmental action would be taken against officials who were negligent in the investigation of cases. SP Vakul Jindal directed the police officials to remove the stoppers and drums filled with sand, which are placed on the road, at 10 pm and re-install them the next morning to avoid road accidents due to fog.
