Tension gripped the house of YSRTP chief YS Sharmila when the police prevented her from going to visit Osmania Hospital.
Sharmila had called a ‘Chalo Osmania Hospital’ on Tuesday. The police stopped Sharmila when she came out of her house in the Lotus Pond area of the city to visit Osmania General Hospital. The police prevented her from leaving her house.
The YSRTP chief got into an argument with the police along with her party activists leading to a scuffle and she fell down.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharmila said that Chief Minister KCR has once again proved to be a dictator. She said that KCR is afraid of the YSRTP and YSR’s daughter and she pointed out that the government had tried to block her padayatra.
Sharmila said that the BRS government keeps stopping all her programmes even though they have permission.
Osmania Hospital has no facilities, she said and reminded that the CM had said nine years ago that the hospital would be rebuilt with an outlay of Rs 200 crore.
She said that she has received complaints that people are not getting adequate medical treatment at OGH.
Sharmila lashed out at the government for terming the programmes of opposition parties as law and order problems.
