Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday suffered a minor injury after falling off a motorcycle during his visit to flood-affected areas on Monday. Srinivas Reddy inspected flood-affected catchment areas following heavy rains across the state.
During the visit, victims shared their concerns with the minister. He interacted with people after travelling all the way on a motorcycle. The two-wheeler he was riding skidded due to the slippery road. It was a minor injury. A doctor immediately dressed up the wound.
The minister dismissed it as a minor injury and asked the people not to worry.
Earlier, the Minister visited Khammam Rural Mandal on a two-wheeler and assured the people of the flood-hit areas of necessary support from the government.
He visited Nayudupeta, Jalagam Nagar, Sai Prabhat Nagar-1 and 2, Temple City, Pedda Thanda, Karunagiri, and Rajiv Gruha Kalpa areas and consoled the victims.
Some women poured out their tales of woe to the minister. The Minister assured them that the government would come to their rescue.
