Just last month, actor Manchu Vishnu made an official announcement regarding his most ambitious project, Kannappa. The announcement was made in Sri Kalahasti. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the movie is gaining a lot of attention for its mythological touch.
Many know that Manchu Vishnu and actor Prabhas are good friends off screen, and taking their friendship a step ahead, Manchu Vishnu on X has hinted that Prabhas will be playing Lord Shiva in Kannappa.
Reacting to trade analyst Ramesh Bala’s tweet where he said that Prabhas will play Lord Shiva in Kannappa, Vishnu re-shared the post, captioning it: “Har Har Mahadev #Kannappa”.
This reply by the actor has fuelled the rumours, with many even confirming that Prabhas will play Lord Shiva.
However, an official statement has yet to be released.
Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad wrote the screenplay for the movie. Nupur Sanon, the sister of Kriti Sanon, will make her Tollywood debut with this movie. The epic drama’s music was composed by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi, and it was produced by Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
