Industry Minister Amarnath has revealed the YSRCP’s election strategies, shedding light on key developments within the party as they gear up for the upcoming elections. He called Prashant Kishor an event manager in the political arena.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Amarnath said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to the welfare of the people, underscoring that the well-being of five crore citizens takes precedence over the individual interests of the 175 MLAs.
Offering valuable insights into the YSRCP’s election preparations, Amarnath announced the appointment of incharges for various constituencies.
He noted that the confirmation of MLA candidates is contingent upon the issuance of the B Form, and adjustments can be made if necessary, providing a glimpse into the party’s meticulous planning.
Recognising potential discontent within party ranks, Minister Amarnath urged party members not to be disheartened if not immediately allocated a seat. He emphasised a collective commitment to carrying the party flag forward, signalling a unified front as the elections approach.
In a surprising revelation, Amarnath expressed unawareness of the reported shift of a YSRCP MLC to another party. Commenting on such moves, he stated, “If you change the party, it’s self-inflicted.” Using a metaphorical parallel, he remarked, “It is said that there are no murders in politics, there are suicides, that is true in the case of that MLC.”
