RP Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, has said that a State banquet will be hosted by Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan in honour of President of India Droupadi Murmu, on her maiden visit to the State on Sunday.
Governor Harichandan will personally receive the President on her arrival at the Gannavaram Airport and will accompany the President and participate in the programmes at Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
The President of India will arrive at Gannavaram Airport at 10.15 in the morning on Sunday and proceed directly to Murali Convention Centre in Poranki and participate in the civic reception organised in her honour by the State government and felicitation of the President by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
After the programme, the President will proceed to Raj Bhavan to participate in the State banquet hosted by Governor Harichandan in her honour. At 2.30 in the afternoon, the President will reach Gannavaram Airport to proceed to Visakhapatnam, where she will participate in several programmes to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several highway projects.
Later, the President will inspect the naval parade at the Navy Day programme in Visakhapatnam and later proceed to Tirupati for overnight stay.
On Monday, the President will have darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala temple and visit Goshala there. The President will participate in an interactive session with the students of Padmavati Mahila Viswavidyalam in Tirupati and later reach Renigunta Airport to proceed to New Delhi.
