The Director of School Education on Monday has issued a directive to modify the timings of primary and upper primary schools across the State. According to the new order, the schools will commence classes at 9:30am, aligning with the timings of high schools. However, this change will not apply to schools located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
As per the official statement, primary schools will now begin at 9:30am and conclude at 4:15pm, resulting in a slight adjustment to the school day. Similarly, upper primary schools will follow suit and operate from 9:30am to 4:45pm. For schools situated in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the timings will remain unaffected, adhering to the previously established schedule outlined in the academic calendar.
