Probe urged into alleged recce to kill JSP leader

A delegation of Jana Sena Party (JSP), led by Pithapuram in-charge Tangella Uday Srinivas, has appealed to the Superintendent of Police to order an investigation to find out who conducted recce to kill JSP senior leader Madepalli Srinivasa Rao.
The JSP delegation met district Superintendent of police S Satish Kumar here on Tuesday and submitted a memorandum urging him to take action against those who conducted recce wielding a knife to kill JSP senior leader Madepalli Srinivasa Rao. They told the SP that the unidentified persons conducted recce many times at the JSP office in Pithapuram.
They appealed to the SP to order an investigation to expose who was behind conducting the recce to kill Srinivasa Rao. No such incident took place earlier in Pithapuram, they informed the SP.
Later talking to the media, the JSP leaders said that the JSP responded positively to their appeal and assured of investigating the incident. They said that the SP also made it clear that there would be no compromise in maintaining the law and order situation in the district.  Kandula Durgesh, Mutta Seshidhar, Pantam Nanaji, Dasari Kiran and V Tammamaih were among those who met the SP.
