PSR Trust extends financial support to people in flood-hit areas

Family members of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy went on door-to-door visit in the flood-hit Palair Assembly constituency and infused confidence among people. They extended financial support from PSR Charitable trust of the family
The Revenue Minister in his capacity as the member of the State Cabinet was successful in securing the  financial support of Rs 16,500 to each affected family and get them supplied essential commodities.
The PSR Trust for one week provided food to the flood victims three times a day. With the help of the trust members and party workers the food was distributed at the doorstep of people.
Ponguleti Madhuri, along with the  minister’s brother Ponguleti Prasad Reddy, and other members of the trust took a decision to extend a financial support of Rs 5,000 and two blankets, two saris, lungis, T-shirts and towels to each  family.
As part of the exercise, financial assistance and textiles and blankets were given to 214 families in the class-IV employees’ colony, 249 families in Rajiv  Gruhakalpa colony, 222 families in Sai Nagar, 721 families in Jalagam Nagar, 199 families in KBR Nagar, 308 families in Temple city, 111 families in Sai Prabhat Nagar, 527 families in Abhaya  Township, 527 families in Danavaigudem and 719 families in Ramannapeta on Saturday.
Trust members said that the process would continue  in other areas too. The families that received the financial assistance are happy over getting support from their MLA and Minister.
