Raghu Rama meets Naidu in Delhi

YSRCP rebel MP K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who has been making critical remarks against the YS  Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government, received the TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu when he landed at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in the national capital Delhi on Monday.
Naidu is visiting New Delhi to attend the wedding reception of the daughter of a senior advocate Siddharth Luthra, who is representing the TDP leader in the multi-crore skill development scam case in the Supreme Court.
Of late, Ramakrishna Raju has been criticising the administration of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the behest of the opposition Telugu Desam Party. The rebel MP has launched a smear campaign against the current dispensation.
Speculation is rife that Raghu Rama is hoping to contest the 2024 parliamentary elections on a TDP ticket. He’s consciously avoided the criticism of the opposition party.
It is said Ramakrishna Raju was instrumental in connecting Lokesh to the best legal experts in New Delhi to fight Naidu’s corruption case. The apex court will take up a hearing on a plea filed by Andhra Pradesh government challenging the granting of a regular plea to Naidu in connection with the skill development scam case on Tuesday. Justices Bela M Trivedi and SC Sharma will hear the special leave petition (SLP) filed by the state government.
