BRS Working President IT Minister KT Ramarao said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi knows only ‘clubs’ and ‘pubs.’ He doesn’t know about ‘oxen’ and ‘paddy,’ KTR said and asked Rahul to explain how a Rs 1 lakh crore scam is possible while executing the Rs 80,000 crore Kaleshwaram Project.
KTR demanded that Rahul should explain how the Rs 1 lakh crore scam took place while executing the Kaleshwaram Project.
Making it clear that the Congress has no right to speak on free power supply to farmers, KTR said that the current Congress party in Telangana is not the Congress of YS Rajashekhar Reddy but that of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
He said that Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took away Rajashekar Reddy’s Congress to AP. But the Telangana unit of the Congress is running as per Chandrababu’s ideas, he added.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy is an RSS activist and his background is totally that of the RSS. He has never questioned Modi and is an RSS agent. He is also an expert in purchasing MLAs. Revanth is a Godse in the Gandhi Bhavan, KTR said. Addressing the media at Jagtial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar’s residence on Sunday, KTR questioned Revanth’s comments and the policy of the Congress on ‘power.’ He said that Congress is the party that harmed farmers in the last five decades and asked Revanth to apologise to farmers by withdrawing his comments on free power supply.
“We are ready for a debate on power and people should give their verdict on it,” KTR said.
KCR’s slogan is three crops a year, but the Congress slogan is 3-hours of power supply, he said and asked whether people would believe Rythu Bandhu provider KCR or the Congress? KTR said that even Maharashtra farmers were praising KCR’s schemes for farmers.
KTR explained to BRS leaders about the party’s action plan. He said that BRS leaders would organise meetings with farmers at Rythu Vedikas from Monday onwards for 10 days. He said that farmers must decide whether they want three crops a year or three hours of power supply.
He said that Congress governments are not in a position to provide electricity and seeds to farmers. He reminded farmers of the days when they used to keep footwear in lines for seeds and fertilizers.
The situation has changed in the last nine years of rule by KCR and the BRS has made farmers kings, KTR said.
Responding to his son Himanshu Rao’s comments on government schools, KTR said that there was nothing wrong with his comments. The KCR government will repair all government schools, KTR said.
