Raids on properties of Hyd ACP

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) from Telangana conducted searches at the residences belonging to Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) Assistant Commissioner of Police TS Uma Maheshwar Rao on Tuesday.
Sources said that Uma Maheshwar Rao has 17 properties. Among them five plots are in Ghatkesar and a villa in Shamirpet. Police have seized nearly Rs 38 lakh in cash and 60 tolas of gold during the raids. As per the market value, the officials have seized more than Rs 3 crore worth of assets.  
The officials have reportedly conducted searches in more than six areas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He has allegedly received bribes from Sahithi directors to divert the case. Many complaints were reportedly received that he was supporting the accused in that case. The officials are reportedly verifying the cases, which Umamaheshwar Rao handled.
During the raid, the officials have reportedly found the name of Sandeep.
Along with Sandeep, some more names are also reportedly mentioned in his diary.
