Rain likely in parts of AP

The Meteorological Centre has said that light to moderate rain is likely at isolated locations in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the next 24 hours, according to the latest weather update on Monday.
As per the daily weather report issued here, dry weather is expected to persist in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema for the next seven days, excluding Monday. The previous 24 hours saw dry conditions prevailing over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema.
The northeast monsoon has displayed a weakened presence over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Notably, Arogyavaram in Rayalaseema experienced the lowest minimum temperature, recorded at 15.5 degrees Celsius during the nights spanning Sunday to Monday, as highlighted in the report.
