Must read

Actor Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana’s much-anticipated film Peddi is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The makers have erected a massive set for the film, and crucial scenes are now being filmed at this specially constructed location.

The promotional videos released earlier have already created significant buzz, offering a glimpse into this high-stakes production, which has quickly become one of the most sought-after films in Indian cinema.

This ambitious project marks a grand collaboration between top creative forces and is shaping up to be a landmark cinematic moment. The film is presented by renowned production houses Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with Venkata Satish Kilaru producing.

Staying true to a raw and earthy visual tone, the team has gone to great lengths to ensure an immersive cinematic experience. Production designer Avinash Kolla and his crew have built an elaborate village set where a pulse-pounding stunt sequence and key dialogue scenes will be shot during this schedule.

Bollywood actor Divyendu Sharma has joined the cast for this extended schedule. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead. With around 30% of the shoot already completed, this phase will cover a substantial portion of the film.

Ram Charan has undergone a striking transformation for the role. He sports a rugged, rural look with long hair, a thick beard, and a nose ring—bringing intensity and authenticity to his character. The film also features veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.

Peddi is slated for a grand release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
