In Tollywood, it’s becoming a trend to drop major updates on actors’ birthdays. Following this, the makers of Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film are planning a special treat for his fans.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by P. Mahesh Babu of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty fame, this marks Ram’s 22nd film as a lead actor. The team has announced that the title and a teaser (glimpse) will be unveiled on May 15, which happens to be Ram’s birthday.
The film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, playing Mahalaxmi, while Ram essays the role of Sagar. The supporting cast includes Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Rahul Ramakrishna.
A significant portion of the film has been shot in the scenic Godavari region, as Ram’s character is portrayed as a die-hard fan of a superstar. The recently released poster hints at this element.
However, the identity of the actor playing the superstar is still under wraps, with reports suggesting the team is looking to cast a big name.
