BRS Working President and MLA KT Rama Rao alleged that the Congress party deceived the people by giving guarantees. KTR signed the nomination proposing the name of Prasad Kumar as Speaker on Wednesday. Later, he spoke to the media representatives.
He said that there was never a discussion on taxes in the Congress government. CAG has been releasing reports every year. He said that audit calculations are done every year. He reminded that they have released a white paper on taxes every year. “Do you calculate and give guarantees? Do you make promises and then do calculations?” he asked. He said that the real game starts now for the Congress who gave promises.
KTR said, “Rahul Gandhi promised loan waiver. They said they will waive the loan within two days of coming to power what happened to it?” He questioned what happened to the six guarantees in the first Cabinet itself and what happened to the loan waiver. He said that the State has piled up debts, and tomorrow the Governor’s speech will say the same thing. He said, “45,000 jobs will be provided in one MLA’s constituency. If asked how they will give it, they will not give the answer.”
Meanwhile, Minister Seethakka expressed anger over the comments made by former minister KTR that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had made false promises. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, she said that the pain of losing power is haunting KTR. She questioned, didn’t the BRS exaggerate what they said they would give. She made it clear that every promise given will be implemented. She said that they are implementing each and every guarantee.
