REPORTERS’ DIARY : Revanth doesn’t want to be labelled babu’s disciple.

Must read

It appears that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy no longer wants to be labelled as a ‘disciple’ of former CM and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Although he has become the Chief Minister in his own right; much to his chagrin, his detractors keep pointing to his TDP roots. The other day, he took serious note of media reports that suggested he met Chandrababu at the airport, and sent legal notices to the media outlets concerned. Revanth has been thinking along the lines of AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy when it comes to administration,  be it reviewing Power Purchase Agreements, reorganisation of districts, replicating AP volunteer system as Indiramma committees, or clearing pending bills to media houses. It is a different matter that, should the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance win in Andhra Pradesh, he will have a lot more to brace up for.
