TPCC secretary Kuruva Vijay Kumar said that TPCC president Revanth Reddy sold the Gadwal Assembly ticket for Rs 10 crore and five acres. He said that he will file a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Election Commission (EC) against Revanth’s irregularities.
Staging a dharna at the Telangana Martyrs Gun Park on Monday along with his followers, Vijaya raised slogans against Revanth saying ‘Vote for note in the past…now seat for note.”
Speaking on this occasion, Vijay said that Revanth sold 65 Assembly seats for Rs 600 crore.
“Revanth is discriminating against Telangana activists and is not giving them tickets. He is allocating tickets to leaders who joined recently, ignoring people who were working for the party for years. The party is suffering reverses due to Revanth. I am demanding that the high command should remove Revanth from the post of TPCC president immediately. The party has to cleanse the first list announced on Sunday with 55 names,” Vijay said.
Vijay has been criticising Revanth for allotting the Gadwal Assembly seat to the recently joined Saritha Yadav. Vijay tried hard to get the Gadwal ticket and had gone to New Delhi in vain for that.
