Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasised the need for speeding up land acquisition for the northern section of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and ensuring generous compensation for farmers.
During a review meeting at the Secretariat on Friday, the Chief Minister directed Collectors serving as arbitrators to secure the highest possible compensation for landowners.
The CM reviewed key aspects of the RRR, National Highways, land acquisition and
the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) for road construction. He highlighted the importance of engaging local representatives and regularly meeting farmers to explain the benefits of road projects, aiming to speed up land acquisition.

With the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) granting in-principle approval for the southern section of the RRR, he asked officials to finalise alignments in coordination with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).

The Chief Minister called for uninterrupted construction of radial roads connecting Hyderabad, ensuring seamless integration with the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the RRR.

He instructed officials to address any issues regarding government land and industrial development areas and eliminate bottlenecks in forest clearances.

Revanth specifically discussed the Nagpur-Vijayawada (NH-163G), Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial (NH-63), and Jagtial-Karimnagar (NH-563) roads, urging swift resolution of land acquisition and forest clearance issues for these key routes.
