Revanth, the second direct CM from Congress

Must read

After N Kiran Kumar Reddy now A Revanth Reddy is becoming a Chief Minister directly. Like Kiran Kumar Reddy, Revanth Reddy also has no experience as a minister.
Before becoming the Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy worked as a government chief whip and later became Assembly Speaker in the United Andhra Pradesh. But Revanth Reddy did not work as a minister or in any other important posts. From the Congress, Revanth Reddy won as an MLA for the first time. In the past in 2009 and in 2014 Assembly elections, Revanth Reddy won as an MLA from Kodangal constituency from the TDP.
In 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Revanth Reddy contested as an MLA from the Congress party from Kodangal and was defeated by BRS candidate P Narendar Reddy. But now Revanth Reddy defeated the same BRS sitting MLA Narendar Reddy with a huge majority.
In 2007, Revanth Reddy won as an MLA from local bodies as an independent. Revanth Reddy became the TPCC president in 2021 and in 2023 he is becoming the Chief Minister. Revanth Reddy is the second Chief Minister of Telangana State. BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao was the first Chief Minister of Telangana State. When K Chandrasekhar Rao became the Chief Minister of Telangana state, his age was 60 years. Now the age of Revanth Reddy is 54 years.
Revanth Reddy is the youngest Chief Minister of Telangana State. Revanth, with his fighting spirit against the BRS, attracted the Congress high command. He is a relative of late former MP S Jaipal Reddy. This has also become an advantage to Revanth Reddy to attract the Congress high command. He fought against the BRS all these days as the TPCC president. Now as a Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy should fight with the BJP-led Central government for the development of Telangana State.
