Telangana Chief Minister and TPCC President A Revanth Reddy’s comments over BRS MLC K Kavitha’s arrest and revenge politics are creating a stir in the BRS ranks. With CM Revanth’s comments the BRS cadre is disturbed over what will happen after the Lok Sabha elections. When asked about the arrest of BRS MLC K Kavitha, the daughter of former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, CM Revanth said no one in Telangana is discussing it. “If KCR was arrested by the BJP during the Assembly elections there could have been little sympathy for him.. At present investigation is going on about phone-tapping, Kaleshwaram irrigation project and on some more issues. In these cases, KCR was the central point. The investigation reports appearing in the media have damaged the image of KCR and the BRS.
The political circles feel that the arrest of KCR may be certain in these cases. But not taking any action on KCR before Lok Sabha elections was because there will be impact on politics. That means after the Lok Sabha elections CM Revanth may concentrate on KCR, the BRS circles feel. CM Revanth’s comments, “In fact, I have not yet started taking revange. I don’t target cats, but only lions,” are strengthening the doubts of BRS circles. The BRS leaders feel that CM Revanth Reddy indirectly hinted that action will be taken against KCR after the Lok Sabha elections.
It may be recalled that the BRS government headed by KCR sent Revanth Reddy to jail in vote for note case. Now Revanth Reddy got an opportunity to take such action on KCR as he became the CM. CM Revanth thought if any action is taken hastily against KCR, people may think that it was political revenge. CM Revanth wants to take action on KCR after getting full proof and evidence over the involvement of KCR in these issues.  CM Revanth Reddy will get full support from the Central government headed by the BJP if any action is taken on KCR in these cases. The BJP leadership is also very serious over the phone-tapping issue.
