School Education Department Kakinada Zone Regional Joint Director (RJD) Dukkipati Madhusudana Rao was angry over School Assistants (SA) not coming forward to teach Classes 3 to 5. He found that some of the teachers were not teaching lessons to primary classes and warned of action against them.

The RJD paid a surprise visit to the ZPH School for Boys and Girls at Kondapalli of Ibrahimpatnam mandal on Tuesday. He found that the school’s teachers were not following the government’s orders and issued notices to the Boys’ High School headmaster and Telugu teachers. He also conducted a review meeting on government schemes.

Speaking to media persons, RJD Madhusudana Rao said that in view of the mapping of Classes 3 to 5 into the nearest high schools, the School Assistants should teach lessons to those classes. “Those who refuse to follow these orders will be suspended,” he warned.
He made it clear that primary teachers should teach students of higher classes, and also teachers of higher classes should teach primary students. Time table should be prepared in this regard, he said.

Later, he taught a Telugu lesson to students and asked some questions to teachers and students, but they failed to give answers. Then he issued a show-cause notice to the Telugu teacher. He was not happy with the quality of mid-day meals. Also, he enquired about the Manabadi Nadu–Nedu works, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka distribution, etc.
