Roshan Kanakala, son of renowned television personality Suma and popular character actor Rajeev Kanakala, makes his lead acting debut in Bubblegum. Ravikanth Perepu, who previously directed Kshanam and Krishna and his Leela, is in charge of the romantic drama. Maanasa Choudhary, Harsha Chemudu, and Kiran G also star in the film, which is produced by Maheshwari Movies and People Media Factory.
SS Rajamouli recently presented the film’s first poster. The film’s teaser was released on Tuesday in the presence of Hi Nanna actor Nani. The clip begins with a voiceover in which a man compares love to bubblegum, describing how it’s wonderful at first but sticks to your boot or seat at a movie theatre afterwards. Roshan, who plays Aditya, is presented as a DJ who has feelings for a girl named Jahnvi.
It doesn’t take long for Aditya and Jahnvi to fall head over heels for one another. Just as their relationship appears to be stable, Aditya gets into difficulty (with a car) and is trying to regain his lady love’s respect. The film concludes with Roshan issuing a severe warning to a goon. The lively atmosphere, excellent cinematography, and the chemistry of the leads are all a treat.
Other notable actors in the romance drama include Ananya Akula, Harshvardhan, Anu Hasan, Jairam Eashwar, and Bindu Chandramouli. The script was co-written by Ravikanth Perepu, Vishnu Kondur, and Seri-Ganni, while the music is by Sricharan Pakala. The cameraman is Suresh Ragutu, while the editor is Nishad Yusuf.
