Ram Charan and Jr. NTR’s period action film RRR has already received many accolades since its release. The film is India’s biggest film of all time. Of the many awards it won, winning the Oscar for Best Original Song 2023 took Indian cinema to a different level, with people across the world talking about it.
Now, it has added another feather to its cap. RRR has once again received recognition from the Academy Awards. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, members of the cast of the upcoming movie The Fall Guy, walked the stage during the 96th Academy Awards to honour the best stunt sequences in motion pictures. They had also produced an edit that featured clips from some of the world’s top stunt sequences, including RRR, and on the stage, it was a delight to watch them mention the South Indian film RRR. The makers of the film took to social media to express their excitement about this new tribute. They wrote, “And again, a sweet surprise for us… Glad that @TheAcademy included #RRRMovie action sequences as part of their tribute to the world’s greatest stunt sequences in cinema (sic).”
