RRR secures TDP nomination for Undi MLA seat

Following his formal induction into the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during a public rally hosted by Chandrababu Naidu in Narasapuram, incumbent parliament member Kanumuri Raghu Ramakrishna Raju has clinched the party’s nomination for the Undi assembly constituency.
On Saturday, the TDP president announced Raju’s candidature for the Undi Assembly seat, replacing incumbent MLA Manthena Venkata Rama Raju, who had initially been selected as the party’s candidate. Before revealing Raju’s candidacy, Naidu engaged in discussions with Rama Raju, paving the way for his resignation from the seat with the promise of a significant role in the party’s future endeavours. It’s reported that Raghu Ramakrishna Raju also held multiple discussions with Rama Raju.
