Anantapur MP Talari Rangaiah, along with District Collector M Gowthami and Zila Praja Parishad, Anantapur chairman Boya Girijamma inaugurated a significant milestone decompression unit (DCU) of AG&P Pratham at Maruthi Nagar in Anantapur. This cutting-edge facility accelerates the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to remote locations, specifically benefiting Maruthi Nagar, Ram Nagar, and Kovur Nagar. The connected grid lines across these areas extend the reach of natural gas to approximately 2500 households and 20 commercial units and most importantly allow the local residents to reap its diverse benefits to the fullest.
MP Talari Rangaiah, lauded AG&P Pratham’s commendable efforts by stating, “This initiative to establish the decompression unit is a crucial step towards ensuring access to clean energy in our region. This project holds significant promise for the future of Anantapur, and I encourage everyone to actively support the usage of PNG for the well-being of our community and thoroughly gain from its varied list of benefits it offers.”
GA Venkatesh, Regional Head AG&P Pratham Anantapur, stated, “This is our second decompression unit in the Anantapur district and we proudly dedicate this facility to the local residents as it showcases our unwavering commitment to offering green energy solutions. With a substantial investment of nearly Rs 50 lakhs in this hi-tech facility, AG&P Pratham is actively spearheading the establishment of a comprehensive pipeline network spanning approximately 30 km, which will be completed in a phased manner over the next six months.”
