Rx Benefits, a US-based company, is setting up its first Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, located in Hyderabad, as announced by IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
The company’s representatives met with the Minister on Wednesday. Following the meeting, the Minister shared that Rx Benefits, through this centre, will create 300 job opportunities in the next two years, providing a great platform for talented individuals in the State. The company supports its pharmacy clients by helping them increase their profits.
The Hyderabad centre will oversee global product engineering operations, Sridhar Babu revealed. He emphasised that Telangana has become a hub for multi-national companies due to the abundance of skilled human resources available in the State. The conducive business environment and the lack of infrastructure issues made Hyderabad the preferred choice for Rx Benefits.
In the context of rapidly expanding modern technologies, such as generative artificial intelligence, digital transformation has become inevitable across various industries. The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretary to the Government Jayesh Ranjan, Rx Benefits CEO Wendy Barnes, CFO Thad Kwiatkowski, Chief Product Officer Shekar Khera, Sandeep Sharma from Summit Consultancy Services, Shakthi Nagappan from Telangana Life Sciences Foundation and TGIIC MD Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
