Sivakarthikeyan stars in the upcoming multilingual film Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran and Sony Pictures International Productions. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead, Indhu Rebecca Varghese and her character’s emotional journey is highlighted in a newly released first look.
It features original footage from the 2015 Republic Day parade, where Indhu receives the Ashok Chakra from President Pranabh Mukherjee. Sai Pallavi brings depth and authenticity to her portrayal of Indhu.
The promo focuses more on Sai Pallavi’s character. The film is based on the chapter ‘Major Varadharajan’ from the book titled India’s Most Fearless, written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. Amaran is set for its theatrical release on October 31 for the Deepavali festival. Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy and his sister, Nikhitha Reddy, will release the movie in Telugu states through the Sreshth Movies banner.
