The much-awaited movie Salaar which was initially scheduled to release on September 28, has since been pushed back to the next year, though. The ongoing post-production work is the justification given by the producers for this delay. According to current sources, the movie’s filming may still be ongoing. In Hyderabad, a recent eight-day program without Prabhas has begun. Fans were disappointed by this announcement because the producers had earlier said that the filming was complete. However, it appears that the team is doing some patchwork, which is typical for any movie.
The majority of the scenes that are currently being filmed do not involve the lead actor, and this development suggests that there may be further delays in the movie’s release. The industry already believes that the movie won’t be released this year. In order to give the movie a single release across India, director Prashanth Neel would need additional time to decide when to release it.
Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the movie, and Prithviraj plays a significant villain. Hombale Films is providing funding for the endeavour.
