Sana Raees Khan: Munawar Faruqui’s game has become very cheap; he’s exposed

Must read

Bringing to you our chat with another former contestant of the ongoing season of Bigg Boss, The Pioneer interacts with the high-profile lawyer Sana Raees Khan, sharing her stint on the show, being the fashionista in the legal fraternity, and more.
Sana Raees Khan’s eviction from Bigg Boss 17 surprised few of her fans, and we learned in a recent interview that the high-profile lawyer wasn’t as surprised as we expected because the interviewee said she had ongoing cases to seek bail for. Of course! One who took on the case of Indrani Mukherjee, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, will have to return to her prominent professional space.
At the same instant, the latest stint will always be a one-off shot for her, she asserted. During our exclusive interview, she said, “I think I conducted myself in a very dignified manner on the show. I never stooped very low! The reason I was approached by the makers out of so many lawyers across the country made me not want to miss this opportunity. I never participated in Bigg Boss intending to win. I stuck through—for what, more than eight weeks? That was never my aim. I made it very clear to the cameras also that I have a few pending cases; hence, even if I am exiting the show, it’s no big deal.”
Sana also stated that she never intended to take the game show  so seriously. As an alternative, “I know I am a high-profile lawyer, but I need changes in my life too. My schedule doesn’t even allow me to have lunch sometimes. So when they approached me, I thought it could be an essential break for me from my mundane life. It turned out to be true to life because I started to enjoy my time inside the house. Apart from the brawls and politics that go overboard sometimes, it’s true that we immerse ourselves so much in the game show, not knowing how we are looking outside. We don’t have the concept of time inside the house.”
She wasn’t cold on the stage with Salman Khan, clarified the ex-contestant. In lieu, “My father had asked me to keep quiet (she laughed out loud). If I seemed way too professional with Salman Khan, it could be because of the profession I belong to. I was not opening up deliberately in the first week, assuming I’d be the first contestant to be evicted, so why create unnecessary controversies? As soon as these comments like “I am not doing well” hit me, that competitive spirit in me ignited.”
All of us know that another aspect of the country’s biggest reality television show is also to look glamorous on screen! There are bets amongst the Twitterati on whether the fashion game was a hit or a miss. Telling us a little about the fashion-sized void, she announced, “I had no time to appoint a stylist. So I even expressed my desire on camera to appoint a stylist for me. Because in the outside world, believe it or not, I am considered to be a fashionista in my legal fraternity. I was disappointed with my styling inside the house; it wasn’t up to par. It impacts your game because what if you are not trending for your glamour quotient?”
She even takes pride in not mud-slinging other female contestants just to be seen on the show. She had no targets set, unlike other contestants! She instead had the guts to go against the aggressive ones. Then there comes a controversial statement by Sana Raees Khan: “Munawar Faruqui’s game has become very despicable. Right from the beginning, he was a boring contestant; out of nowhere, I found him to be a straight-thinking man. He’s extremely overconfident; he has no idea how he’s wondering that he’s already a finalist. In the most substantial portion of the show, Munawar didn’t do anything; he didn’t show any shades. He was busy passing distasteful comments in the middle of skirmishes. He thought he was looking cool; how foolish. He’s exposed! Apparently, his girlfriend has broken up with him outside the show. Some random woman has entered on his behalf; what’s all this? All of this is a reflection of his character traits! God forbid, if it’s a set-up, then it’s super tacky to make a mockery of your life on national television. C’mon Munawar—you have to face the world after the show.”
As far as she’s concerned and her bonding with Vicky Jain, which is being professed into two minds on the internet, Sana clears the air: “I have always considered him to be a brother on the show. We had our fray! How can I be crushing on him now? I ended up nominating him at the end. That clearly shows I had no feelings for him. Instead, I loved Ankita Lokhande!”
