Sandeep Vanga praises Sai Pallavi

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Arjun Reddy’ was a sensational hit that stars Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. The film was released nearly eight years back and it was also remade into Hindi as ‘Kabir Singh’ and there also it was a huge hit. Though the film was released long back, director Sandeep revealed about his first choice of the female lead in an event on Sunday.
“Initially, I wanted to cast Sai Pallavi. So, I contacted a coordinator from Kerala. I told him that it was a romantic film and the coordinator asked ‘how romantic’? I told him it was more than what we see in usual Telugu cinema,” said Sandeep. Then the guy immediately replied to him ‘forget about it’. The girl won’t even wear sleeveless. Sandeep revealed this now, though the film was released nearly seven years back.
“Eventually, actresses change over a period of time, based on the opportunities they get. But Sai Pallavi is not changing at all. It is really a great thing,” said Sandeep about Sai Pallavi. The director wanted to tell that Sai Pallavi is the same from then onwards till now.
