Sanjana makes an unforgettable debut with Vadhandhi

Must read

A ‘Dream Debut’ as she puts it, Sanjana plays the titular role of Velonie in Prime Video’s latest Tamil Original series- Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie. A role that many, including creator-Andrew Louis and producers- Pushkar, and Gayatri believe was inadvertently written and meant for her. And none can argue with the fact, as she effortlessly, and beautifully manages to captivate the audience with her acting prowess, and an enchanting smile throughout the eight-episode series.

With a flair for performing arts, Sanjana was always destined to be an actor. Rising to fame, courtesy of her YouTube video—‘When a 90s kid loves a 2K kid’, Sanjana had already amassed a fan following (that is speedily growing with every passing day) even before her debut.

Pleasantly surprising many, Sanjana has not only impressed the audience but also, critics and industry members who have been showering praises on her, for a nuanced performance, unexpected of a debutant.

Riveting! Gripping! Engrossing! Excellent! Compelling! Powerful! And a visual treat for Tamil cinema lovers are only some of the expressions being used by netizens to describe the series.

While it may seem premature, but it is not farfetched to believe that Sanjana would be a worthy nominee to sweep the best debut award at most industry award ceremonies.
If you haven’t already watched it, do not miss out on a noir crime-thriller that will leave you at the edge of your seats, till the very last scene.

Produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under the banner of Wallwatcher Films, and created by Andrew Louis, the Amazon Original Tamil Original series Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie, takes the audience into the world of young and beautiful Velonie, whose murder investigation is riddled with rumours; and a troubled but determined cop, (played by S.J.
