Ridiculing BRS MLC Kavitha for declaring that she will stage a dharna at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding the introduction of the Bill providing 33 per cent quota for women in legislatures, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar asked her why her father Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao did not give 33 per cent of his party’s Assembly tickets to women.
Sanjay also asked Kavitha to ask her father why he did not include women in his first Cabinet.
Addressing the media at Jagtial on Friday along with Bhoga Sravani and district BJP president Sathyanarayana, Sanjay told Kavitha to ask KCR why he did not comment about the rapes taking place in the state and why he is allying with AIMIM which tore the Women Reservation Bill.
Sanjay said that according to the National Crime Bureau records, the number of crimes in Telangana has increased by 17 per cent. Telangana has become a centre of murders and rapes and most of the murderers and rapists are BRS leaders.
“If someone commits rape and joins the BRS their case will be scrapped. Moreover, those who commit rape and murder are portrayed as heroes in Telangana,” he said.
“Kavitha must ask KCR why he has been insulting the lady Governor. People are laughing seeing reports of Kavitha’s proposed dharna at the Jantar Mantar on reservations for women in legislatures. It is shameful on the part of leaders to hike electricity charges, bus fares, water bills, registration charges and other taxes,” Sanjay said.
He said that AIMIM is a parasite awaiting KCR’s leftovers. Sanjay asked AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to contest in all the 119 Assembly constituencies if he had the guts.
“We will make sure that Asaduddin will lose his deposit in all the 119 constituencies. All Muslim women are now with the BJP. The BJP won in the Northeast as Muslim women had voted for it en masse. The BJP is now in power in 18 states,” he said.
Sanjay warned the Sri Chaitanya College management that BJP activists would beat up the management if they threatened the friends of Sathwik who had committed suicide.
