SC rejects Hetero’s quash petition

In a setback to the Hetero group, the Supreme Court on Friday refused to quash the case filed against it by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The bench of Justice Joseph and Justice Hrishikesh Roy opined that the Hetero company should face trial in the case as CBI had filed a charge sheet. Last year, the Telangana High Court dismissed the quash petition filed by Hetero Group. However, the Hetero Group approached the Supreme Court challenging the TS High court’s verdict.
