Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Koye Moshenu Raju and Andhra Pradesh Legislature Speaker Tammineni Sitaram asked Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy that a special app be developed to monitor the members of the Legislative Council and the various questions asked by the members of the legislature in a timely manner and to resolve their complaints promptly.
They asked DGP K Rajendranath Reddy for tight police bandobast arrangements during the ongoing budget sessions. After the end of the budget session on day one on Tuesday, a meeting was held with the Police department along with secretaries of various departments.
On this occasion, Koye Moshenu Raju and Tammineni Seetharam explained the pending star, unstarred, and short note questions in various departments and wanted to bring them to zero level by providing correct answers in time. He said that members ask questions on many public issues and if those questions are answered in time, then the members will get an opportunity to explain those details to the people of their constituencies.
He said that a special app has already come into force in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and other states to give timely answers to the many questions asked by members and to resolve their complaints promptly. Similarly, they requested that a special app be implemented in our state as soon as possible. They advised the secretaries of all departments to issue appropriate orders to the officers at the field level because there are many complaints regarding the implementation of the protocol of members at the field level.
Later, the state DGP was asked to provide strict bandobast arrangements to continue the budget sessions in a peaceful atmosphere. Keeping in mind past experiences, special attention should be given to the lapses. In the background of a large vacant area around the secretariat, strict surveillance arrangements with advanced information and technology systems along with police forces on four sides should be made. They suggested that the police officers and staff perform the bandobast duties strictly.
