The Rural Development Organisation’s Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), SHG-bank linkage annual loan plan for 2024-25 will be released by Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Seethakka, at Dr MCRHRD Institute in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.
Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Corporation and Anita Ramachandran, CEO of SERP, will be present.
Other participants will include the SLBC Coordinator, the RBI Regional Coordinator, the CGM of NABARD, and various bank officials.
According to the SERP, State-level awards will be given to branch managers and district officers who excelled in the SHG loan sanctioning plan for 2023-24.
Later, the role of banks in the Mahila Shakti programme initiated by the State government will be discussed.
