Semi-Christmas celebrations held at Raj Bhavan

Governor of Andhra Pradesh S Abdul Nazeer participated in the Semi-Christmas celebrations held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan on Sunday.
He said that Jesus Christ gave mankind the message of peace, harmony, and universal brotherhood and this is what all of us need to practise in our lives. The Governor said that to be truly happy, we must rise above bigotry and jealousy of others and we must love even those who hate us. Love is the only path to peace, freedom, and happiness.
Earlier, the programme commenced with Bishop Sampath reciting prayers and reading Bible, followed by a Christmas message by Bishop Ebenezer, Metropolitan Mission, Vijayawada. Dr Daniel, vice-chairman of the AP Minorities Commission, felicitated Governor Abdul Nazeer.
After cake-cutting, closing prayers and Benediction were delivered by Bishop George Cornelius, CSI Vijayawada. Officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan attended the programme.
