Service to the public is cop’s main duty: CP

Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty said that the police profession is a great profession and that police should always aim to serve the people. He addressed the basic induction training programme of civil Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (SCTPC) at the parade ground of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate on Wednesday.
In all, 196 civilian SCTPCs belonging to 2024 batch of 4 units, which are Siddipet, Medak, Khammam, Bhadradri\Kothagudem reported at Command Training Centre (CTC), Cyberabad on Wednesday. Among them, 59 people belong to Siddipet unit, 56 people belong to Medak unit, 54 people belong to Khammam unit and 27 people belong to Bhadradri\Kothagudem unit. All of them will have nine months training in Cyberabad CTC.
Avinash Mohanty said, “After the release of police notification, lakhs of unemployed people study hard and practice for passing the police job, but only few get the chance. Training time is a great opportunity to learn new things. Self-discipline should be followed here. Selected candidates should take advantage of this opportunity and bring a good name to the police department.”
Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Joel Davies, said, “All training rules and regulations should be followed. Be careful with social media. Constables work closely with people at the field level and their role in the police department is crucial.”

CTC DCP Principal LC Naik, CTC Vice-Principal ADCP Ramachandradu, ADCP CAR Headquarters Shamir  participated.
