Sharmila to resume her padayatra tomorrow

Making it clear that she will not stop her padayatra even if she is attacked or killed YSRTP President YS Sharmila said that she will resume her padayatra on December 4 and will continue till December 14.

She said that she will resume her padayatra from where her padayatra was stopped by the police in the Lingagiri village of Narsampet in Warangal district.

On Friday, Sharmila held a meeting with important leaders and activists at her Lotus Pond residence and discussed with them political developments in the state, the attitude of the TRS, police detentions, threats by TRS MLAs and the continuation of her padayatra.

Later, speaking to the media, Sharmila said that she will resume her padayatra on Sunday and will remember everyone who accompanies her during her difficult days.

Sharmila met Additional DG Jithender along with her party leaders and submitted a memorandum seeking protection for her padayatra. She also handed over a copy of the High Court order allowing her padayatra.

She said that she will continue her padayatra exposing KCR’s failures in implementing his assurances, the government’s corruption and illegal activities.

Making it clear that she will resume her padayatra, Sharmila said that the people of Telangana have to remember that the violent incidents that took place indicated that democracy is dead in TS.

Sharmila said that the TRS is now behaving like a party of goons and that the police are not discharging their responsibility of maintaining law and order. She also declared that nobody can stop her padayatra and the YSRTP.
