A true love never ends,” they say, and this is what we see in Aamir Ali’s recently released romantic track Heeriye Diljaaniye, a soothing, romantic track through which the actor has begun his new year.
Heeriye Diljaaniye has a beautiful storyline with a twist in the end that will surely make you misty-eyed. The song is sung by none other than Javed Ali, the voice behind the most soulful songs.
To begin, the FIR star says, “Hindi music and I have a long history. For the past few years, we’ve been releasing one song yearly. I like the way the songs are presented. They just don’t shoot it; they shoot it well. There are so many videos being made, and you’ll have to be very careful about which videos you do. I don’t do too many videos or projects. I’m not qualified to speak about Javed Ali; he’s fantastic. When I heard the song, I was flawed, and then yeah, we shot for it. When I heard the song, it was in its zone; it’s a very nice romantic song, very melodious, and it’s in his zone. I heard the song and fell immediately in love with it. It was great interacting with him.”
Heeriye Diljaaniye captures the dreamy romantic vibe of that road trip, complete with funny and cute moments. We do see the great chemistry that the actor shared with his co-star, Neha Khan.Talking about the camaraderie he shared with Neha, he says, “See, I am an actor. So whoever I work with, we just have good chemistry, and you have to because that’s what you’re supposed to. It was a romantic song, and yeah, we had fun. Neha and I first met at the Mumbai airport. We’ve just been talking since then, and I think it helps when you meet before the shoot and don’t meet in the shoot, so that’s what happened when the ice broke in the Mumbai airport.”
There’s no denying it! One of the toughest phases in a relationship is separation. A separation could be through a breakup or, worse, the death of their partner. In fact, the song brings us a message too: “True Love Never Ends,” which is something that all of us resonate with. Talking about his take on “True Love,” the Sarojini-Ek Nayi Pahel actor says, “True love never ends. If it is love, that’ll never end, and if it doesn’t work, it was never meant to be.”
Lately, he has been away from television, but guess what? The actor has been on hiatus for the past few years because “I wanna shift to OTT, and in fact, I did a couple of them last year. I started doing it about 2.5 years ago. I did three of them last year, and they are scheduled to be released this year, so I will not talk much about them now. Jab release hoga, tab baat karenge,” he giggles and continues, “There are good ones that I’m going to surprise everybody with, and I hope I do (wink). I am currently focusing on OTT.”
The news of several actors from the television industry taking their own lives has recently reached a peak. The talented young actress Tunisha Sharma’s death shook the fraternity and the nation. “This is a very sensitive and sad thing that happens; no one should go through this, and I just don’t know how to react. I just feel sad and feel like life is too precious and you can’t let this happen to you and your loved ones because you go away but your loved ones suffer every minute of every hour throughout their lives.”
Asked what according to him was his remarkable character. He answers, “I have loved all my characters. Whenever I do something, I love it, and that’s why I do it. But, in terms of television, I believe FIR was one of my favourites, as was Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, in which I had previously appeared. I also enjoyed being a part of reality shows like Nach Baliye; I have enjoyed doing them, and I’m waiting for my best one to come.”
Aamir had also recently wrapped up shooting for The Good Wife, which also stars Kubbra Sait and Dilwale actress Kajol. While we ask him about the type of character he will be playing, without revealing much, he gives a hint: “I have played this character before, but I had done it very differently earlier.”
Is it going to be a grey character like in Naxalbari or like one of his sweet characters? Well, we’ve got to wait to know more.
Heeriye Diljaaniye has a connection; it has love. But when you lose a relationship, different people might have their own coping mechanisms. Aamir concludes the discussion of his coping mechanism by saying, “You never lose if it’s true love. And if it’s not meant to be, it’s not meant to be. Everything happens for the best; you have to be positive and live life happily and to the fullest. You know what’s happening around you; life is too short, so you just have to have fun. Be real, be happy, and the most important thing that I’ve discovered is to be at peace. Because if you’re at peace, everything is amazing.”
