Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and handed over a preliminary report on the damage caused by floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
He said the report details the extent of damage in flood-affected areas.
He emphasized the urgency of the situation and noted that a Central team will soon visit the affected regions to conduct an on-ground assessment.
The Centre has been closely monitoring the situation in both states, and the visit by the Central team will pave the way for more aid.
