Former minister and YSRCP leader Sidda Raghava Rao and his wife visited Sri MalliKharjuna Swami Sameta Srisailam Bhramaramba temple in Srisailam and participated in ‘harathi’, ‘abhishekam’ and ‘kumkuma puja’ on Thursday.
The Sidda Raghava Rao couple was welcomed by temple officials and Vedic scholars as per traditions. The former minister along with Jyoti Granite Export India CEM Sivaram participated in the Udayasthamana Seva performed by the Devasthanam. He participated in special ‘Harati’ of Mallikarjuna Swami, Panchamrit Abhishek and Kumkumarchana of Shri Bhramarambha Devi.
The temple officials offered Vedic blessings to Sidda Raghava Rao couple. During the month of ‘Kartika’, Sidda Raghava Rao performed special pujas for Nagendra Swami and took part in the lighting of one lamp at the temple.
