Siddhartha Mahila College team emerge volleyball champs Championship

Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila (SDMSM) College has won the Krishna University Inter-Collegiate (KRUIC) Women’s Volleyball Championship, which was held at the Siddhartha Mahila College in Vijayawada. The tournament was conducted on a knockout-cum-league basis.

Siddhartha Mahila College, PB Siddhartha College, Vikas BPEd College, Nunna, and Government Degree College, Kaikaluru, reached the league stage. In the league stage, Siddhartha Mahila College registered three wins to become the KRUIC Women’s Volleyball Champion. PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College won two matches and Vikas College of Physical Education, Nunna, won a match to secure the second and third places, respectively.

At the prize distribution function, Siddhartha Mahila College Director Dr T Vijaya Lakshmi and Principal Dr S Kalpana presented trophies and medals to the winners. Organising secretary Lakshmi Kanaka Durga, Physical Director Bhaskara Rao and others were present.
