Worshipping Saibaba with one crore rudrakshas

AP State Fibernet Limited (APSFL) Chairman Poonuru Gautham Reddy has said that in a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Shirdi Saibaba Mandir at Mutyalampadu in Vijayawada will organise the worship of Saibaba with one crore ‘rudrakshas’.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that the one crore ‘rudraksha’ worship will be held on March 28, 2023 and the process of preparing and purifying the ‘rudrakshas’ has been started in Payakapuram in Vijayawada city.

He said that the representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records and other record books will attend the programme to register for the event. He stated that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, other dignitaries, and eminent persons will attend the programme. He said that they have brought 60 lakh fine grade ‘rudrakshas’ from Nepal for ‘Abhishekams’, and the remaining are also arriving. The event is being conducted seeking divine blessings for the prosperity of the people and the development of the State.
