MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) urged teachers to support NDA coalition candidate Alapati Rajendra Prasad in the upcoming Graduates MLC elections on February 27. Speaking at a meeting at KBN College on Saturday, he emphasised that the focus should be on resolving issues rather than staging protests.
Sivanath expressed gratitude to the NDA coalition government and appreciated teachers for opposing previous government policies and raising public awareness. He assured them of his full support for educational institutions providing quality education to middle-class students, highlighting the role of education in shaping the future.
He also outlined the state government’s welfare initiatives, including the upcoming implementation of Rytu Bharosa, Talliki Vandanam, and free bus travel for women from May and June. He reiterated the NDA’s commitment to addressing public concerns since assuming office.
The meeting was attended by Dr V Narayana Rao from SKPVV Group of Institutes, former MLC Budda Venkanna, TDP state spokesperson Nagul Meera, and leaders from TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena.
