PNS|Visakhapatnam
In line with guidelines issued by Govt of India, a smart Public Bicycle Sharing System (PBSS) has been implemented at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam which is enabled through SMS-based registration, RFID locking, and an advanced re-distribution and location system.
The initiative aims to reduce carbon footprint and promote healthy green transportation alternatives.
Implementation of PBS System will significantly contribute towards ensuring energy efficiency and help in furthering Indian Navy’s efforts towards reduction of carbon footprint and environmental conservation.
