In a remarkable academic achievement, 26 Social Welfare Residential Junior Colleges secured a 100 per cent pass rate in the Intermediate Second Year exams, while 9 colleges achieved the same feat in the First Year results, setting a new record not seen in the past decade, said the release. This year, the overall pass percentage for the Intermediate Second Year in Social Welfare Residential Colleges stood at an impressive 86.16 per cent with 11,979 out of 13,940 students clearing the exams. The First Year results saw a 77.48 per cent pass percentage.
Excluding the Covid-19 pandemic year, this year’s results are the highest recorded in the last ten years across TGSWREIS colleges.
Congratulating the toppers, Dr Alugu Varshini, Secretary of TGSWREIS, applauded the efforts of the students who secured state ranks. She also extended her gratitude to the principals and faculty members of the high-performing colleges for their dedicated service and commitment to student success.
