TPCC Working President Sangareddy MLA T. Jagga Reddy said that some Congress leaders were engaging in false campaigns intentionally on social media against him for the last one and a half years.
He said that he doesn’t know what they are trying to achieve through the campaign of lies and that there is no truth in the reports that he is going to change party.
“Don’t they want me in the Congress? Why this sadism? I won the election fighting against the BRS. Who is behind this venomous campaign? I did many things for the Congress. In what way do I have to prove my obedience towards the Congress?” he asked.
He also asked the media to reveal who is giving packages to spread this news and asked it to stop it or else he will not remain silent. He warned that he will not spare anyone who reports such news in future.
“What is wrong in meeting ministers and CM to raise public issues? I submitted representations to Ministers and the CM like a commoner. My political life will be only with Rahul Gandhi,” he said.
Addressing the media at the Assembly’s Media Hall on Saturday, Jagga said that Rahul was happy when he walked with him in Sangareddy for 22 km. “My name is known to Rahul Gandhi. He praised me seeing the arrangements that I had made during Bharat Jodo Yatra in my constituency,” he said.
Jagga Reddy said social media culture entered politics through the TDP and that TDP is an expert in using social media. The TDP culture destroyed the Congress, he said.
